ABSENTEE BALLOT DEADLINE FOR CONGRESSIONAL VOTE If you know someone who cannot get to the polls next Tuesday, Sept. 24, please let them know they can make arrangements to vote absentee. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Thursday, Sept. 19. Click the link below to get instructions on getting your absent ballot in your county. The counties in our congressional district are: Mobile, Baldwin, Escambia, Monroe, Clarke and Washington. The most important official in keeping local control of our Delta and keeping the Feds out will be our next congressman. If Dean Young wins, we are in a strong position to block a federal takeover of the Delta. Dean is the only candidate for congress who is leading the fight against nationalization of the Delta. Dean fought the Delta takeover at the Mobile County Commission, the Baldwin County Commission, and by supporting our group, Save Our Delta. Dean is keynote speaker at the Save Our Delta Rally this Sunday.
