AGU AGULU WRITES ON CHIME/EKWEREMADU CONTROVERSY.(2) Today at 3:58 AM The argument that Ekweremadu will be ranked higher than Chime in the Senate if re-elected is flat like a deflated baloon. If Chime wins and goes to the senate, he will be going as an ex-governor with eight years experience from the Executive arm of government which is the heart of democracy! As a lawyer governor, nobody can be better than him in lawmaking because as a governor he must have sponsored some executive bills and as a lawyer he is familiar with the logic and jurisprudence of legislative and legal drafting. Most of his colleagues in the senate will even adore him for this rare combination of experience. Im from Agulu in Anambra state, but I think Ndigbo need people like Chime in the Senate.Im not saying Ike Ekweremadu is not good. I know he is lawyer too, but monotony kills interest while variety remains the spice of life. Each time I see people trying to recycle themselves in a particular position ,what comes to my mind is INCOMPETENCE. A bright student does not pray to stagnate in a class, he will even wish to jump classes. In good old days such pupils were double promoted by school authorities. Ekweremadu should try something else to show that he is capable of doing some other thing. If I were him , I will try lawyering or lecturing to once demonstrate selfless service .
