AHA sporthorse world: consider the Hackney horse! Im so proud of my 1/2 Arab Hackney cross mare. Im a very amateur rider and we won three open level championships this weekend at a local all-breed show. 165 entries. All kinds of breeds represented. We won Open Hunter pleasure, sporthorse under saddle, and dressage suitability. We have five of these crosses in our 80 horse barn and they are amazing! The right amount of knee, plus reach, plus good minds, thick strong bodies and lots of try. Shes been a reserve champ at Scottsdale, but its cool to see her do well against other breeds too.
