ANSWER to Tuesday Trivia! A congenitally divided nevus which is sometimes called a kissing nevus. This is a rare congenital nevus and its origin dates to the embryological fusion of the eyelids during the 9th week of gestation. Although a congenital facial nevus rarely becomes malignant, it may cause psychological stress during childhood & beyond and the nevus in the eyelids may cause functional problems.
