PLEASE VOTE SMART !!! 1) Be aware of what basically are the duties of a MLA; its so sad to say that many of us mustnt be aware of a MLAs duties and responsibilities. Once you get to know that, ask yourself, Has the candidate which was elected the last time been responsible enough? Does he deserve to be voted again? If not, please vote for the most deserving and promising candidate. KAAM KO VOTE DIJIYE 2) You should know what your vote would yield. Your vote has nothing to do with who shall be the upcoming Prime-minister. Those who Vote keeping in mind a Particular banner theyve been voting always, or keeping in mind who shall be the Chief minister or Prime Minister over-riding the reality of what progress has been made in their constituency shall regret later, as the person who has the responsibilty (MLA), his performance shall be ignored by you for the above stated reasons. 3) even if your Mr. XYZ becomes the Prime Minister or Mr. ABC becomes the CM, would that be of any direct good to you? The MLA has too work for the contituency, not the CM or PM, so please vote thoughtfully for whom you want as your MLA. 4) To choose which candidate wud be the best, just read their manefestos... I would not be wrong to say that those candidates whose manifesto merely reads Mr. ABC ko CM bnaiye, MR. XYZ ko PM bnaiye aur islie meri party ka button dabaiye and has no mention of what theyve done in the past for the constituencies betterment are indeed those who have not done anything and are the corrupt ones, please be smart, and decide for yourself whether they ought to be voted... 5) One who is a good leader, is literate, dedicated, energetic, close to the masses, is truthful, sincere, understanding and has been a part of your joys and sorrows is the one who deserves your vote.
