ARRESTED: On October 21, 2014 Officers Phillip Frazier, Derek Townsend, Ian Morton, Sergeants Charlie Crabtree and James Watson, along with Chief Neal, Marshals with the United States Marshals Service, Clay City Police, and Kentucky State Police Troopers assisted the Powell County Sheriffs Office in a warrant round up in Powell County. Over 40 arrest were made throughout the day long operation. Officer Frazier arrested 35 year old Melissa reed of Stanton on an outstanding bench warrant for Powell District Court. Sergeant James Watson arrested 24 year old John Banks of Stanton on a warrant on indictment for Powell County Circuit Court for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense. Officer Townsend arrested 40 year old Donald Gibson of Stanton on a warrant on indictment for Powell Circuit Court for two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. Sergeant Watson arrested 45 year old Jesse Patrick Jr of Stanton on a warrant on indictment for Powell Circuit Court for two counts Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. Officer Frazier arrested 31 year old Shelly Poe of Stanton on a warrant on indictment for Powell Circuit Court for the charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree. Officer Ian Morton arrested 45 year old David Mullins of Clay City for two bench warrant out of Montgomery County District Court. All subjects were lodged in the Montgomery County Regional Jail awaiting arraignment in court. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
