About two weeks ago, we saw a sudden uptick in the amount of sugar syrup our first year hives have been taking - they went from about a quart a week to a quart a day. I figured the July dearth was on! Fast forward to this morning, following a couple of days of much needed rain. I dont know what is blooming, but look at all of the full pollen baskets on the girls!
