Access to Trevallyn Dam restricted Hydro Tasmania has advised that it is undertaking upgrade works at Trevallyn Dam from 19 to 30 May as part of its comprehensive Dam Safety Program. Work will take place on the dam crest, and a helicopter will be used at times to move items around the worksite. To ensure public safety, there will be no access to the viewing platform at the dam while these works are undertaken. Hydro Tasmania will make every effort to limit disruption; however, access to the picnic area will be restricted when the helicopter is operating.
