Accomplished a few things today. Whoever said it rarely rains in Colorado should be smacked. It probably doesnt. I just can not stand walking around sop and wet. But anyhoo. More on the positive.--- I know which parts of downtown I want to apply for work when I finally find where home will be. I finally have opportunity to work jobs Ive been trained for! Im super pumped. Mr. Eyler would be so proud of me :D R.I.P. my fav culinary arts instructor. You rocked! God sent me the sweetest little elderly man who took the time to help me find offices and bus stops and help me see today. People here are so friendly and efficient. I went to Human Services and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. This place is on the ball. After that, my friend showed me to the Denver Coalition for the homeless, and they set me up with some people who again, were so helpful and positive. I may have to stay in sheltered housing until April 1st, but Ive done that before for 4 months back in the day. Ill be okay. Every past experience prepares us for the next, eh? And, they have the most awesome programs for the visually impaired here in Colorado. I was floored ! They will help me get all the vision aids I need in one stop. No more 6-12 month wait through the pathetic VoRehab in Richmond. (worthless I say) AND there are grants when Im ready to start my Brailling business. It will all start in 3 weeks. LOL Patience is a virtue, and one I usually dont have. God knows our needs before we even pray and meets them right on time. Im looking forward to a church service this Sunday, somewhere. I need to hear the word and fellowship. Keep praying for me. I need all the help I can get. Peace -- Jo
