Active weather expected through Monday for northern Nevada with - TopicsExpress

Active weather expected through Monday for northern Nevada with multiple systems impacting the region. Storm #1 will impact the area this evening with accumulating snowfall above 5500 feet. A few inches of snow are expected above 5500 feet, with only a dusting to an inch below 5500 feet possible. Storm #2 will arrive tomorrow, with a brief period of snow, before snow levels rapidly rise above 7000 feet. This system is moisture laden, so moist regions across the north will see a quarter of inch of rain or more. Storm #3 is essentially a continuation of storm #2, but precipitation will become more focused in the mountain ranges through Monday. Snow levels will remain high above valley floors, but some elevations above 7500 feet could see significant snowfall. Please look at the following graphics for specific amounts.
