Addy update Evaluations and Decisions By Jason call — 12/12 around 10 pmEST Hi Everyone, We know you have all been anxiously awaiting an update about Addy. We wanted to update you when we had more information. Yesterday, Addy had a CT scan which revealed that she did suffer a stroke during her cardiac arrest. We also know that many organs, especially her kidneys and liver, were severely damaged. In addition, during the arrest Addys pulmonary artery was ruptured. This has meant that there has been a great deal of bleeding and the doctors have spent a long time trying to control bleeding (including a few exploratory surgical procedures). It does appear that the bleeding is finally under control. We are still determining exactly what damage was done to many of her organs, and figuring out exactly Addys neurological status. We are trying to sort out all of these issues, and determine what will be the best thing for Addy. We ask for your prayers of strength for all of us as we navigate this information. And, we ask for you all to hold Addy close to your heart.
