Admin sensitive post helpful comments only please Inbox PPP. Has anyone been in a similar situation? My sisters ex had there son every weekend and one weekend at the end of November he refused to give him back on the basis that my sisters partner was abusing him. They called the police and social who have been involved. Police didnt do anything and social have completed all there checks/assessments and have no reason 2 believe he is an abused child, they checked his doctors records, spoke to my nephew (he is 4yrs old), checked his school, did criminal record checks etc and all has come back good. social have said they cant say to my nephews dad u have 2 give him back to his mum as he is on the BC so has the same rights as my sister. They have advised mediation which my sister arranged and they have said they will contact the dad and if he dont respond or refuses to mediation then told my sister to apply to court with a CX100 form. My question is who do we send this 2 and do we need a solicitor to do this. my sister is on benefits so has been told she can apply for free with this CX100 form but unsure about solicitor. please no nasty comments as my sister has done nothing wrong and just wants her son back, she hasnt seen him since November as his dad wont allow it and she missed his bday and xmas.
