Adoption Update Time: “We did a foster/adopt with Kodi (formerly Kadee) When we adopted her in July, we knew she was timid and scared of men. She is still timid but getting better. She still has issues with men but my husband is building her trust by being patient and she will sit near him once in awhile and let him pet her. She is a sweet girl with a gentle soul. She loves her squeaky toys and just wants to be near us. She loves our kids (ages 14, 12 and 10) and will stand outside their bedroom doors and whine until they open the door! Kodi and our other dog Coco have become buddies and even lay together sometimes! So although we have struggles to overcome with Kodi, we will not give up on her! We know there is a reason she came into our lives, maybe to teach us about patience! We love our Kodi girl.
