Advice Issued For: Lauriston, Spring Hill Fire Origin: KYNETON Incident Name: HARTS LANE Issued: 01/02/14 8:47 PM This is a DOWNGRADED Advice message issued by Country Fire Authority for Lauriston, Spring Hill and communities west of Kyneton Firefighters have stopped the spread of the grassfire in the KYNETON area. The fire is contained and crews will be working into the evening to black out any remaining hot spots. There is currently no threat to communities. Smoke may remain in the general vicinity overnight. The next update is expected by 02/02/14 10:30 AM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: If you have time, check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions. Continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Contact a family member or friend to tell them what you plan to do now.
