Advice please. Repost. Is there any chance you can repost? Im looking for some eczema help. Ive already checked the albums and looked at the post in the albums and weve tried pretty much everything mentioned in there. My almost one year old has had eczema since 2 months old. He was EBF through about 7.5 months and is still primarily breastfed. I was on an antibiotic in January for strep throat before I knew any better. He got a yeast rash shortly after I had the antibiotic and then cradle cap and eczema started mid February. (I think the eczema started from the antibiotic) We have treated the following ways: I was on GAPS diet from April to September. I still eat 98% paleo, the only cheats are a few sips of soda on occasion. Still grain, dairy, soy, and gluten free. We are generally egg free (he gets a diaper rash when I eat eggs). I have tried him on a probiotic. We have used coconut oil topically, weve also used lavender and tea tree oil in coconut oil. We have used a cream from a local herbalist. Ive made my own eczema salve from Wellness Mamas online recipe. We tried oatmeal bath (ground oatmeal in the bath water) and he was even more dried out after that. Weve done baking soda and epsom salt baths. Ive tried Aquaphor and Snow balm and A&D ointment (I know non crunchy). Does anyone know of anything that we havent tried? I feel so bad for him, he has to live in footed pajamas to keep him from scratching all the time and I think some of our nighttime/bedtime battles are from the eczema. Thanks!
