After 7 whole years with the Kroger company, I have made the decision to leave in a couple weeks. I decided to substitute teach full time while I finish up my schooling. Itll be a great opportunity and experience to work in an atmosphere I love and going to school for. This is extremely bittersweet for me. I basically grew up working at Kroger and many may think it is an awful job but it really isnt all that bad. There were many times I wanted to quit because we all know retail is not a stress free job but I was always glad I didnt. I met some amazing coworkers and customers that I will greatly miss seeing every day. Theres many of you that if it wasnt for Kroger, I would of probably have never met! Kroger has taught me a lot about myself and the people around me and Im forever grateful for that. I really would not trade my many years there for anywhere else. Its crazy to think I started as a teenager being a bagger then kept moving up to being the manager of the floral department. I will definitely miss working floral and how happy I made customers but that is something Ill always have a passion for and enjoy doing on the side and will be more than willing to do any special orders or answer any questions for any of you still! I could not say thank you enough to the Kroger family I was apart of and how much Ill miss it but I promise to always stop in and keep in touch. I couldnt be more ready to transition from the Kroger girl to Miss Brown :)
