Broadening Unit Percussion Fiesta Our four Percussion Ensembles and two World Percussion Groups will treat you to a percussion spectacular featuring African Drumming, Jazz, Zimbabwean Marimbas, Dubstep and much much more! - Tickets $10/$5 on the door. ♫ Thursday 1.10-2pm (Callaway): Free Lunchtime Concert Featuring the UWA Guitar Ensemble - FREE - All welcome ♫ Friday 7-8pm (Callaway): Assembled! Minimalism Concert Students will perform works which showcase both the traditional American minimalist style, and modern adaptations of its idioms. Callaway Auditorium will be completely transformed for the concert and concert-goers are encouraged to bring a cushion! - Tickets $10/$5 on the door. ♫ Saturday 7:30 pm (Wesley Church): Lachrymae The UWA String Orchestra present a special student summer concert featuring works by Bartok, Elgar and Britten. Directed by Paul Wright, conducted by Joel Bass with Freya Petersen on viola - entry by donation! ♫ Tuesday (28th) 7:30 pm (St Marys Cathedral): UWA School of Music in Saint Mary’s Cathedral (Bruckner & Berlioz) A concert for the serious music lover featuring the UWA Symphonic Chorus and Wind Orchestra with Saint Mary’s Cathedral Choir - $25 Standard / $20 Concession (available here: music.uwa.edu.au/concerts/special-events/st-marys)
