After YEARS of doing battle with Social Security to be found Disabled, a judge had no choice but to examine the facts of my life and he found in my favor. I am the first person he granted 100% Disability due to Fibromyalgia. (A tiny income, but not having to show up anywhere for work.) I wept. And wept. A bitter victory...yeah, I am officially disabled. I was so grateful that I could finally lay my head down on a a pillow and just be sick. The battle had been long, and every day I spent curled up in bed felt like a victory, for which I was SO grateful! But this eventually morphed into something else for me. I devoted this time to Advaita Vendata, Mooji, Adya and meditation practices. Disability allowed me to retreat into a cave.Good thing. But ego stuff that was arising felt poisonous and I was unequipped to deal with it on my own. Being forced to interact with others saved my life. Balance, balance, balance. With love.....
