After a heart breaking visit to Australia, were safely home again. It was with a very heavy heart that we came and went, but I so very thankful that we could be with my family this past 10 days- I couldnt be more proud of my mum, my big brother, Duane, my little sister, Kelly,Trav and the kids for the courageous way they have all confronted what is surely the most devastating moments of our lives. As Kelly pointed out during Liseys service, it was the first time in 16 years that we ALL had fallen asleep under one roof at the same time. Ive come to realize after this experience that the best relationships in our lives are the best not because they have been the happiest ones, but because they have stayed strong through the most tormentful of storms. Rest in peace, sweet Lisey.
