After just moving into a new neighborhood with her children, this dogs owner visibly displayed a Beware of Dog sign at her home. Dog was behind the homes fence and became sgit s ted when approached by a stranger. Dog tore strangers shirt but did not bite. The stranger came back moments later with a pipe, injuring the dog as shown. Question to recipients was whether stranger should be charged with animal cruelty? Stranger turns out to be landlords son. I think he should be charged but I am not a lawyer and not sure if he can be under the circumstances. I do think she should be prepared to leave the premises before calling the police because he had an impulsive reaction when he hurt the dog. and she will not be safe there. The guy is a loose cannon .
