After reading what I consider a fairly unbiased writing of both sides of the argument, I suppose I support building the pipeline on the basic premise of, someone is going to find a way to dig up that oil, burn it, and contribute to global warming one way or another, so it may as well be us. However, Id add a little twist to it. Put a special tax on all oil that would go to building infrastructure for reusable energy and carbon reducing technology for factories in all the states the pipeline passes through so they have a new kind of energy economy to transition to when the oil runs out.
