Again more native style houses coming to a finish. These are located in Barangay Mohon in Tanauan, Tacloban in the Philippines. My plan is to continue this project Roofs for Leyte as more funding flows thru our partners and my Brian Lydon gofundme site. We have an association with Do Your Part.Org and Rotary Club of New York. While this has indeed been very demanding and requires constant supervision along with patience it has been a most rewarding experience for all involved. Helping very grateful, loving people with dignity get back on their feet with a new roof over their heads. Its very simple, we buy the goods tin, marine plywood, nails, lumber, cement wholesale from our vendors and receive free delivery only paying for fuel. Our average cost for supplies on a complete rebuild is $285.00 US, however many are renovated for far less. All labor is provided by the family or a volunteer from the neighborhood.
