Against all the odds, and after being in hospital for 9 weeks, my dad is now transferred to a different residential home. He now needs one to one nursing care. A huge thank you to everyone who has been in regular contact, sent me loving thoughts, or just been there. I would encourage anyone who has any concerns about residential care their parents are receiving to approach the Safeguarding Team in their area. It really does offer Wrap around support in trying times. It also extends a warning to other service providers your parents may come into contact with. Fingers crossed all will now settle down ......
