Al Quran and the Bhagavad Gita Lets Compare some verses from the AlQuran and the Bhagavad Gita(Hindu Scriptures). Lets compare the type of God which exist in these scriptures. 1.The notion of God found in the Quran is a gets all upset when one “sets up partners in worship with Him” (Quran, 4:116) while the God found within the Bhagavad-Gita is not at all self-centered: “I am in everyones heart as the Supersoul. As soon as one desires to worship some demigod, I make his faith steady so that he can devote himself to that particular deity.” (Bhagavad-Gita, 7:21). From the above two verses it is clear that Allah in the Quran punishes those who worship other Gods, It shows the Tyrannic Like Figure here. While Krishna in the Gita who is Almighty God is not affected if people chooses to worship other Gods, infact he fufills the desire of such people to worship such Gods. 2.The benevolent Krishna goes onto say that, “Endowed with such a faith, he endeavors to worship a particular demigod and obtains his desires. But in actuality these benefits are bestowed by Me alone.” (Bhagavad-Gita, 7:22), while the egotistical Allah “reveals” messages such as, “Lâ ilâha illa Huwa” (none has the right to be worshipped but He) (Quran, 6:102). From the above verses it is clear God(Krishna) is telling the truth because whoever u worship, there is Only One God who would listen to you, there are no other gods who have these powers. But Allah in the Quran feels that there might be other Gods so he demands people to worship him and not others, If he knows that there is no other Gods, then why get insecure ?? 3.The notion of God found within the Quran is a chooser who shows partiality when he says, “Muslims are the best of people ever raised up for mankind” (Quran, 3:110), while the God found within the Bhagavad-Gita is truly compassionate and merciful in that he says, “He is a perfect yogi who, by comparison to his own self, sees the true equality of all beings, in both their happiness and their distress, O Arjuna!” (Bhagavad-Gita, 6:32). So Muslims think that they are the best and closest to God. They think that they are Gods chosen people. This type of beliefs only creates a society full of division and unfairness, so if a non-muslims wants to stay in a Islamic Nation, he has to think twice. Krishna in the Gita advises us to see the Equality in all beings. 4.Allah tells his followers to fear him, That is the Command of Allah, which He has sent down to you: and if any one fears Allah, He will remove his ills, from him, and will enlarge his reward. (Quran 65.5) while the Loving Krishna says : Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.(Bhagavad Gita 18.66) Allah tells Muslims to fear him while Krishna says Do Not fear, Now who is God ? A God who demands people to fear him or a God eventru is all-powerful just want people not to fear him. When there is no Fear, Love will blossom. 5.Allah instills fear on his followers, Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein for ever. (Quran 72.23) But the Merciful and Compassionate Krishna says: I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to all. But whoever renders service unto Me in devotion is a friend, is in Me, and I am also a friend to him.(Bhagavad Gita 9.29) It is very Clear, Allah instills Fear, Fear only makes people Insecure. Fear puts a thinking mind into a mindless robot. Krishna in the Gita even thru is God is so humble that he says i envy no one and im equal to all being God himself he possess Humbleness to the greatest degree. Perfect in all qualities. I think Mother Therasa is more compassionate and humble than Allah in the Quran. 6.Krishna also respects the thinking human-brain which is always curious and complex by saying : All these activities should be performed without attachment or any expectation of result. They should be performed as a matter of duty, O son of Pṛthā. That is My opinion.(Bhagavad Gita 18.6) while the Fearful Allah demands his followers to worship him without fail ,If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).(Quran 3.85) If you were to read the above two verses Krishna respects the Human Mind, by using the Word That is my opinion He allows the Human being to have his own freedom and think what is right or wrong, while Allah shuts the Thinking mind and instills fear which makes a Human more or less like slaves without a mind. So from the verses which i posted one can actually judge what kind of society will prevail. If you look around the World today, so much Wars,Blood etc, its a fact that most blood are commited by one Group of people. If these group of people were to heed Krishnas advice from the Bhagavad Gita none of these blood and Wars will prevail. Gods words are meant for peace not otherwise. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty
