Alex Oikkonen responde tras lo ocurrido en el club español CD Martos: In response to incorrect and unjust writings I would like to clarify a few things regarding my try-outs at Martos: Martos never dropped me, instead leaving Martos was my own decision as I felt it was not the best place for my development at this time for various reasons which I do not care to discuss publicly. Martos had introduced me as their new signing after 1 week of try-outs, even though i hadnt been told yet to stay, and no contract had ever been signed by me. The three weeks I spent in Spain were a valuable experience for me, but also realization that there are many things to consider when deciding on the next steps to take in my career and it was actually a very difficult decision to make to leave before the trial was over, and when i had already been publicly introduced as one of their new signings. I also hope that people who like to write and comment about football would in the future, base their writings more on facts and less on creations of their own imagination.
