Alex here, my mom had a really bad night last night. I wished she could see me roll my eyes at her and smile and tell her it is going to be alright. Well to continue with my story, when I first went to the MD clinic, they put casts on my legs and then took a saw and took them off so I could wear them at bed. I did not like to do that , it was very uncomfortable. I stilled stayed overnight with Ryan and Kyle, but it was getting harder to get up and down steps. I went on day trips with Derrick, his family would also take good care of me. My mom and dad took me to St Louis and we went up in the arc. We went to Hot Springs Arkansas, and mom secretly hope the springs would cure me. My dad took me swimming and we had so much fun. One year we went to Memphis , and toured Elvis house, and sun studios. School was getting harder and I could hardly stand without falling. I had one kid at school that would push me all the time. I punched him in the stomach and he never bothered me again. That summer he came over and played football, with us guys. My grandma and grandpa took me took see the Browns play football, and one time they took me to opening day of the Tigers. It was so cold. I was interviewed by SI and made the magazine. Life was good. My mom didnt cry so much anymore. Mom and dad just tried to do as much as we can. The last vacation I took, before I was in a wheel chair was out east. We saw Niagra Falls, Orchard Beach Maine, Salem, we went whale watching. I was really afraid. The weather was looking bad, but we went anyways and it was great. The next chapter of my life starts to get harder, as my friends start to go on with their lives, and I am left behind to continue with my struggles.
