All- I am looking for an alternative for my lovely wife. She needs a shawl for cooler wx. I have somewhere my mothers french repro paisley on wool- but I am fairly sure this is about 10 years too late. Do any of you have a really good suggestion? Date of 1776, location New York city. Her wedding gift is a silver Luckenbooth I had Larry Chowning reproduce from an original he had photos of, she would like to use that. Her standard impression will be from the cries of London (she is still choosing the berry lady, peep show lady, or pie lady). When her clothes are complete I will post images. Thoughts and ideas please?
