All Women Are Beautiful !! Lion wrote this song in support of womens struggle for gender equality during the early 1950s in Great Britain. Women were expected to return to the kitchen and serve their husbands when World War II was over. But they refused to take up to this traditional role and instead thousands of women demonstrated all over GB demanding equal rights. They had contributed to the war effort and had fought for freedom and democracy for all, women included.
