All my friends please be aware ... I never thought the scams which are going around and sound like how silly were they who traped in those... But it can happen with you , me or any one amoung us. This is my genuine way to spread a word. I got a call at 1.31 pm , caller told me that he is from immigration and check authority and singapore high commition and in immigration form i had entered a wrong dob and they had send me notifications on failed of reply they have raised the case agaist me in suprime court and now i will have black mark against my visa. Next 55 mins will be very crusial and i have to make a payment of $405 in western union bank as a penalty. Bening alone at home i got scared because he told me if i cut the phone or do not made the payment local cop will come in 10 mins to depart me to india immediately. I maid the payment and then realised that i got trapped in scan in shock and feared state of mind i did mistek. I searched on internet and got to know that there are 60 such cases happen in singapure till now. I called police and made a compliant. Thankfully the receipt was with me i called to stop my payment and got my $405 back in my hand. I loss $15 as transaction charges. It gave me a biggest shock of my life. There were many clues of for me to doubt but i just ignored because of fear and shock. 1. +65 /or country code will never be shown when you get a local call 2. When i asked about the specific dates about the warnings send to me or about my departure when i fill the form he said that let him check. 3. Did not allowed me to disconnect the phone. 4. Holding for very long time and trying to make me comfortable to make payment. 5. Did not told his nric when i asked he said you will see me in evening with receipt. 6. Even after payment he want me to hold the line for 30 mins to make sure transaction will happen. Be careful guys.
