All three under-17 players that picked injuries in Zambias 0-2 loss to Italy have been certified fit for the Venezuela match on Tuesday night. The players include skipper Ireen Lungu and defenders MarthaTembo and Mary Wilombe. Lungu had a minor knock while Tembo and Wilombe picked serious knee injuries. Team Doctor Womba Kadochi said the two defenders recovered after undergoing rehabilitation. The two defenders picked serious knee injuries after the game against Italy but they are now fit and ready to play against Venezuela. For Ireen, she is equally fit as her injury was not all that serious,’’ said Dr Kadochi. The trio was part of the team that trained at Boston Scientific Centre ground, ahead of tonights clash. The players who are in high spirits looked very confident in training. Zambia, placed third behind Venezuela and Italy, need to win the remaining two games if they are to progress to the next stage. The Venezuela match kicks-off at 17:00hrs local time (01:00hrs Zambian time)
