Allison Kaplan Sommer has a somewhat different worldview than I do, although wed need a multi-dimensional Venn Diagram to really do it justice. But she has a good eye and is an uncanny observer. Those who want to change Israel, in whichever way they fancy, ought to understand it, even if its is in the same way as Hannibal studied Rome so thoroughly. And you do well to read Allison more perceptive articles such as this one. But beware, last time I recommended one of her articles some people really hated it. So if you are in that category, do yourself a favour and skip it, you probably wont like this one either. i certainly have no time to argue about it.
