Almost every semester a Chico State or Butte College student would request to do a study on FNTE for a school project - I would gladly help; yes to give back! This time it was a professional exchange student from Kazakhstan (Zhenya) who was recommended by the international student advisor at Chico State. Gladly, my wife and I drove down to meet him in Chico and help him out in his project. Zhenya was touched and said: I have heard of NGOs that help but I have not seen the real life changing as FNTE ... I am glad I learned the best way of helping with you and will share this way in my country... If all countries were to just do what we do: helping people help themselves - I wonder what would happen. Can you imagine?
