Alright you prayer warriors today I got some of the best news - TopicsExpress

Alright you prayer warriors today I got some of the best news ever, Jim had his first pool therapy since Chicago and guess what.... he could move his legs.. his therapist jumped for joy, he said he just about bawled, on top of that on his one leg he felt the cold water for a moment!!! Keep up the hard work, as he does.. it physically exhausted him as it is much different then you and I moving our legs he has to place such deep concentration on it.. but it is progress and of course I thank God and so many of you and then his great rehabilitation team, his acupuncturist, his holistic doc, the chiro, everyone who has placed a great effort in his recovery.. this again is not walking but he actually got to see himself move his legs!! The sad part is if we wouldnt of been so proactive would this day really of came, if we listened to the doctors he still would not even have been going back to work..I wonder how many people could of went so much farther if given the hope, I think of how everyone we have dealt with has had this delayed work ethic.. they dont care and if you believe for a minute they care.. well you would be a fool as you have to follow up asking others simply to just to do their job, again Thank you all, lets thank God for what we do have even so little or so great.. After reading about RW and his death I think of how so many of us carry a sadness and portray yet and outward happiness... I know I have done it many times, fake it until you make it is my horse show theme.. but in all honesty I have called on some pretty close friends in my time of despair.. as I celebrate Jims great accomplishment I still wonder why in life.. I think of so many great friends I made along the way that have suffered such an incredible injury or tragic life change. Do a life check evaluate your priorities maybe take the extra time to show those you love how you love them, if you know someone who suffers maybe suffer with them.. I am telling you my biggest suffering has been watching the smartest kindest man make a crawl back.. I wiped his tears when he said never, and I said he could right now he has surpassed all that he was told he could do, he was given a five percent chance and that didnt mean a five percent chance of being like any of us at all.. it meant a five percent chance he could have anything below his injury.. well Jim as I told many in the beginning is not your normal nor average person... His body is resilient which I would say is the Ferg tough, his mind is so sharp, but then he has a heart like no other, if you have been lucky enough to see him in action with his own girls you would know what a great loving dad he is, he is the best husband a person could ask for, a leader, a coach and with that being said he has no problem telling you get up and get going, now I need you to do the same for him.. Pray as I know God will take care of us, and I thank all of you for your great support.. again thank God for what we have received as this was not promised by medicine!!
