Amazing day ahead. You have probably seen my Advocare posts over the last few years. Most of you dont know why I have been involved with this wonderful company. You see three years ago I was subject to a couple of destructive thought processes. The first was regarding my health. I had no control over what I was putting in my body. Being that I was in my mid thirties, my body reacted poorly to my choices. I was tired, overweight and sad. Having four kids at home and three under the age of 5 at the time, I wasnt the father I wanted to be. I gave everything I had at work all day. Only to give my precious children the remaining fumes I had when I got home. My beautiful wife who I love dearly, was in the same rut, NO ENERGY. What Advocare provided us was a way out of a life that had no design. In the first few months of product Lindsay Gates Miller and I lost a total of 80 pounds. But lets be real. Numbers are numbers. What really happened was an awaking in the Miller household. I had energy beyond what I could even remember was possible. When you feel good everyday it is amazing how your life changes. Work was better, I was able to do more in the evenings with my kids and I also had the energy to pursue personal interests. The Advocare product line is AMAZING! The second destructive thought process was about the Advocare business model. I am an entrepreneur.... so I thought. Years of business classes in college and almost two decades being in corporate America led me to believe what many of you sitting there are thinking right now: It doesnt work - it is one of those things - it is a scam or even worse a cult. Well as I held on to those thoughts my stay at home mom-wife built a business that provided an income in 2 years that matched what this entrepreneur and business man was bringing home. Yes, we are now THREE years in and are paying cash for Disney vacations, have paid off thousands of dollars in debt and have had more opportunities for our children then the previous 6 years combined. The Advocare business is a journey, I have to continue to put my pride aside to unlearn the lessons of corporate America. You know lessons like you cant make more than your boss, and he cant make more than his boss. Sounds like a Pyramid scheme...yeah I said it. The reality is that the Advocare opportunity is for anyone and can be as big as your dreams. WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU DREAMED? I had been a while for me to ;). So back to today. When you are watching your favorite college team battle it out you are going to see the Advocare logo. Dont think of me... think of you. Are you at a place in your life that you have designed?
