American Gun Rights-Texas Anyone who thinks their gun rights are invincible in Texas needs to drop that complacent mindset. Remember, we did have one particular State Representative by the name of Garnet Coleman who introduced an anti self defense bill this past session. He thought it should only be legal to defend yourself inside your home. In other words, no Stand Your Ground (aka Castle Doctrine in Texas). He felt that anyone who uses deadly force in their own defense in public, must prove their innocence by convincing the jury they could not run away. Because to anti self defense liberals, self defense is murder. Needless to say, that bill did not even make it out of committee. Still, the simple fact that we have elected officials who believe they even have a chance with such an outrageous idea, is bad enough. People like this need to know they have no business even holding public office in the state of Texas. Weve got some serious purging to do in this state. The anti self defense and poor dead thug rhetoric from the left is getting louder and louder. And we all know some people are too ignorant to know that just because someone is screaming louder, doesnt make their words more true. We need to do our parts help these people distinguish between reality and propaganda before they go to the polls again.
