An Urhobo Born great academician, resource person, a reservoir of knowledge, solution profferer & a custodian of cultural heritage Chief Prof. S.W.E IBODJE ADVOCATE FOR YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN THE KEY AREAS WHICH WILL NECCESITATE THE QUICK GROWTH OF THE DREAM NIGERIA STATE ESPECIALLY IN URHOBOLAND. Chief Professor S.W.E IBODJE of the great university of Port-Harcourt has stressed the need for youths of urhoboland to key into all areas that will attract growth & development to their motherland &the importance for them to develop themselves on their studies. The Erudite professor who so much believe that education & orientation frustrate &kill ignorance gave the charge when a social political pressure group Urhobo Interest Initiative(UII) led by a fast rising urhobo born Nigerian youth leader Comr Sunny Basikoro paid him a courtesy visit in his country home at Agbarha -Otor in ughelli north local government area of Delta State. While speaking, he charge Nigerian youth especially the youth of urhobo to be up &doing as he believed that the youth are beginning to be the leaders of today ¬ tomorrow. The prominent Olorogun, who mostly prefer to be address in that direction than western acquire professor also emphasized on the importance of youth to key into areas that will bring honour to urhobos. He reiterated on the need for every youth to develop on their studies as that is the only way to self sustenance &onward contribution to the development of your area. He admonish urhobo youth to take their studies seriously as anything worth doing is worth doing well. He stated that when the youth are enlightened and erudite, they stand a better chance in the society &the world at large. He was quick to remind the youth that a society without development is like a house without light. He urge the youth to be of good behaviour as that will be a pointer in attracting investors to urhoboland& Nigeria in general. Finally, he urged the Delta State &Federal government to pay adequate attention to the areas of urhobo urgent need such as human &capital development at a time like this when all that were perceived to be on the fence watching what they(ruling goverment) could offer has come to build with them.
