An argument over a parking space resulted in a violent clash between two men, leaving one critical but stable and the other charged with attempted murder. John Crowley, 44, is to stand trial in the New Year at Bristol Crown Court after he clashed with Peter Cox over a parking space. Prosecuting, Kevin Blackmore told the court of the awful state of Mr Cox’s injuries. ‘He is currently in intensive care with serious life-threatening injuries with significant damage to his ribs, significant lung damage, critical bruising, and multiple liver abrasions,’ ‘His condition is described as critical but stable, and the current prognosis is he is unlikely to survive.’ Crowley has yet to enter a plea, with his preliminary hearing scheduled for January 6th.
