An update on the project for the Church Hill High School Panthers football history 1951-1979. My hope is to post an update each week on Facebook. This project will take several months and will involve a lot of folks, so please help! On Wednesday it was my honor to have a video interview with J.C. Duncan, who played on the first Panthers football team in 1951. Collected some great pictures/articles/video from Dixie Johnson Gilliam; Stanford LeVern Nunley will be helping contact folks from these teams, interviewing them, and collecting memorabilla; Bill Johnson will also be contacting former players and arranging interviews and meetings; Randall Seaver helped in videoing and collecting pictures. Thanks to all of you for your help! Again, our goal is to have a video interview with at least one player from every one of the 29 Church Hill High School Panther football teams. We can use your assistance in spreading the word. The finished DVD will include pictures, articles, and video from these teams. The end product will be one or two DVDs telling the Panthers story. We want this to be something that you will be proud to have, enjoy, and pass along to your loved ones.
