Ana Carmela Miranda I was one of your classmates during your four-year stay in UPD. I wont tell anymore which particular semester and class(es) we met each other. As far I can recall, we used to greet each other (even when outside the class). Today, its more likely youve already forgotten me simply because I wasnt attractive enough and I didnt participate actively in our class. Before I met you, I had had a mental picture of a girl whose physical traits and character perfectly resembled yours. Surprisingly, this abstraction of mine turned into reality after your very first appearance. Your intelligence alone was already enough for me to admire you. Unfortunately, you were also beautiful and kind which made me crazier. Sadness fell upon me as our class ended. I regretted that I didnt befriend you to know more about you. I didnt have the courage because I once thought there had been a huge gap between us. If I could turn back the time, I wouldnt let myself miss again such once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Time has gone by but still I cant forget you. Ive admired you for several years even if youre physically absent. Although I was still seeing you after that semester, I lacked the courage to speak to you, let alone greet you, afraid that you finally obliterated me in your memory. Despite that, I strongly believe that you x years ago were still the same as you are today: intelligent, beautiful and kind. Youre really one of a kind. This feeling is not love but I guess its an unusual admiration lasting for who knows, maybe as long as I live. Ive created again a mental picture of us in the near future. I, practicing my profession and you, practicing your medical profession. Our paths will eventually cross once more. Well say hi again to each other and talk about our successful stories.
