And FINALLY, some REAL Jazz BANG news, not just a tantalising post about food or bars or whatevs. I take great pleasure in announcing our special guests for Jazz BANG: Mr Lennart Westerlund, of Sweden and Ms Marie Ndiaye, also of Sweden. Lennart - dance historian extraordinaire - delighted and challenged Sydney dancers at The Little Big Weekend with his classes in vernacular jazz dance and lindy hop, and we look forward to his special brand of organised chaos at Jazz BANG. Marie, from Montreal, and now based in Stockholm, Sweden, teaches and choreographs at the Herräng Dance Camp and Chicago Studio. She brings a passion for historic jazz dance and an enthusiasm for FUN to Sydney this October. Both of our guests will be teaching workshops during the Jazz BANG weekend, and will be available for FUN times.
