And all that believed were together, and had all things common; - TopicsExpress

And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (Act 2:44-47) This is beautiful - this is perfection - this is an act of God, not an act of government. It was and is Gods intention that brethren care for each other as God directs and provides. It is not Gods idea for the government to dictate ones station in life. “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent vice of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.” ― Winston Churchill
