And from a (my) other point of view: Anarchism puts an axiom *above* life. This puts anarchism ultimately in the realm of altruism/self-sacrifice, i.e., you follow a (rationalistic) principle no matter how it relates to your life. You sacrifice your own happiness for the sake of a principle. To want to be right just for the sake of it is disconnected from reality and life. Molyneux just follows through with this argument to the end (telling others - not for himself, but thats another story). The deeper (cultish) implication is one of purity. Surround yourself only with people who are pure. is a path to self-destruction, because you will always find impurities in others. Once your impure friends are gone, youll move on to your diet, housing, behavior, and then on to impure thoughts etc. - the usual path every single cult is taking. So, yes, anarchism can become a form of cult - once you stop trying to achieve the best and happiest life possible and once you stop looking at the actual reality.
