View Sign KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Angelo Picone, 73, of Kissimmee Fla., formerly of Southington, Conn., passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013. He was the husband of Gladys Perez Picone and her children. He was born Nov. 24, 1939, in Piano di Sorrento, Italy and came to Southington at the age of 18 in 1957. He was retired from A. Fiorillo Co, in Milldale, after 35 years of employment. He was a long time member of the Sons of Italy and enjoyed his time there playing cards with his good friends. He enjoyed watching Tennis and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, he is survived by his son, Fred and wife, Karen Picone, of South Carolina; daughter, Josie and husband, Gerry Cajigas, of Meriden; daughter, Angelica Picone and fiancée, James Macchio, of Southington; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; his siblings, Pasqua Russo, Antoinette and John Maccio, Luigi and Maria Picone and Carlotta and Harold Pratt, all of Southington. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rosa Simone Picone; and daughter, Maria Picone; his sister, Angelica Somma; and brother, Aniello Picone. Donations can be made to American Lung Association .
