Announcements for Monday September 15th • There will be a drama club meeting today during lunch in the lobby next to Ms. Eggerts room. New members are welcome to attend. Please see Montana Elmhorst if you have questions. • There will be a Student Council meeting in Mrs. Hannas room during high school homeroom this Wednesday, September 10th. If you already are or would like to be in Student Council this year, plan on coming. See you there! • There will be a Senior College Workshop in the Distance Learning room on Thursday during Homeroom carrying over into 3rd hour. This is an opportunity to start working on an application, researching colleges you may want to apply to, get ideas and start to work on an essay, look at admission requirements, standardized tests, etc. It will be very individualized so you can work on whatever part of the application process you would like. Students should report directly to the Distance Learning room after 2nd hour. Please plan accordingly. • Ms. Magray will again be taking HS students to the Wisconsin Education Fair this Friday. The Education Fair is a place to gain information about all the public and private 2/4 year universities and technical colleges. We will be departing Granton at 8:30am and will return shortly before lunch. Please see Ms. Magray for a permission slip and absence form ASAP!! • School Picture Day is Thursday September 25th. If you would like to bring home information to your parents, please stop in the HS to pick up a flyer. Order Forms will be handed out during the week of pictures. • Attention anyone who likes pizza! The Granton Band is now holding their annual Pizza Fundraiser. The band pizza sale will end Friday September 26th so get your order in today with your favorite band students. • A Happy Birthday Goes out to Michael Meddaugh who turns 17, Kayla Foemmel, and Kris Jacobson 14.
