Anon asks Is it normal for an eight month old (7 month adjusted) to startle in her sleep. She usually sleeps on her tummy but whenever we put her on her front, her arms would flail and keep her awake. Only when shes in deep sleep then can we lay her down facing up without her waking herself up. Should I bring this up when we see our paediatrician next? My bub had a lot of complications when she was born but now she seems ok, a little delayed in her development and has bilateral hearing loss but everything else is fine, just that her quality of sleep is not great and shes quite cranky at times. TIA
