Another hard day in the saddle for our Steve! Even rain and a split tyre cant stop him! Reached Inverness - an overcast day with showers. The main news is one of the gang took a tumble on a descent towards Lecht. He was Airlifted to hospital where they confirmed 5 fractured vertebra !! Early reports are spinal column intact and hes stable and comfortable. But his trip is over as hes in hospital for a while. Only about 150 miles left now !! My Ankles still sore for first 40-50 miles. Great scenery and very quiet roads up here. Hope the weather stays dry tomorrow! :0)
