Another pipeline leak 2 days ago on the Yellowstone river, 50,000 gallons. Of course polluting more life sustaining water. 31,000 jobs were created last year in the solar industry, more than in gas/oil extraction industry. It is predicted that 36,000 more jobs will be added in the next 12 months. Only 4000 temporary jobs will be added on the Keystone Pipeline and only 40 permanent jobs. Why the big emphasis on this? Who is really running us? Pushing us to war? My 40 panels dont pollute, arent dependent on foreign oil. Imagine if we hadnt gone to war 13 years and we had secured ourselves as we should have done after the 70s oil crisis. Money would be there for Social Security, Medicare, education, infrastructure, medical research, etc. We would still be number one instead of number 34 or 37 in world standings. We are the least of the worlds advanced nations for upward mobility. Am I wrong? Are the supporters of the pipeline requiring all the piping and materials to be made in America? Are we increasing our quality of life? Are the pipeline supporters backing incentives to keep jobs or return jobs in the U.S,?
