Any cat experts on here? Im having an issue with Jackson - when I was living at my rents place in August, Jackson became addicted to going outside. Which I dont mind - I like taking him out on the harness and everything, but one major problem has arisen: hes now meowing all the time because he wants to go outside all the time. When I Googled it, all the experts say to just ignore him in order to not reinforce bad behavior, but there are two issues with this: 1) he honestly doesnt stop. He was meowing pretty much from 5:30-6:30 this morning. I eventually caved and took him out, and when we came back in at 7, he CONTINUED to meow up until I left for work at 8:30. 2) since I just moved into my current place, I have no idea what the soundproofing situation is like. The last thing I want to do is upset the neighbours at the new place. Any suggestions on this? Danny and I are both losing sleep because of this guy...
