Apart from budgies, I have never bought an animal. I have adopted all my Guinea Pigs. The three dogs I had over the years when growing up all came from the RSPCA in Chobham. Now all 4 cats have come from the York RSPCA. I think it is the best thing we can do. Why encourage the breeding of yet more animals, that will often get dumped; particularly in this current climate, when we can make a difference to the poor animals that have been abandoned? Every dog and cat that I have had from the RSPCA has been amazing. Lets make a difference and give an animal the love and home that it needs and deserves.
