Out of the 38 members Executive Council of the State Government composed of commissioners and special advisers, 24 are CHRISTIANS, not fewer than two are ministers of the Gospel and Governor Aregbesola appointed them. 2. Out of about the same number of Permanent Secretaries, 30 are CHRISTIANS including some who are ministers of the gospel. 3. Out of the 26 members of the State House of Assembly, 16 are Christians. 4. In the first 100 days of Aregbesolas assumption of duty as governor, 20,000 unemployed youths were taken off the streets, trained and joined the state work force. 5. Since Obafemi Awolowo, investors from the Western world have not expressed so much interest in partnering with any state in development projects. Osun is the prime state of interest. 6. No single state in the history of Nigeria, and no nation in all of West Africa hands out computer tablets (opon imo) to its students either for purchase or for free. It is happening in Osun. 7. The new company just commissioned to be producing computers, plasma TV, cell- phones and other electronics in Ilesha, is the first-ever in the South-West Region of Nigeria. 8. Out of the 36 states of the federation, Osun rises from the bottom as number 34 in riches and resources, but ranks NUMBER 1 in performance and impact on people’s lives. 9. No governor in the history of the state has ever been invited to address the prestigious House of Commons in London. In recognition of good visible works not just words, Aregbesola was asked to address the House in January this year. 10. The state of Osun is the most peaceful in all of Nigeria today. In all State-organised functions, prayers are said by clerics of Christian, Islamic and traditional religions who are randomly selected by the moderators.
